The Avia B.534 has been very much the preserve of Eduard in recent years with their real labour of love quarterscale kits.

But that's all set to change with a new 1:72 series from HR Models. The last time I saw this aircraft in this scale was the old KP kit in the 1970s. Judging from the product shots released by Modleimex, HR Models' new kits take full advantage of the latest semi-short run developments, with finely reproduced fabric surfaces, engraved panel lines and a set of etched details.

The current range are all B-534/IVs with enclosed (vacuform) cockpits:

HRMP72003 - Avia B-534/IV Slovak Air Force
HRMP72007 - Avia B-534/II Royal Hellenic AF
