Eagle Editions have announced the purchase of Monogram Aviation Publications, long noted for their top quality aircraft books, including Ken Merrick's almost legendary "The Official Monogram Painting Guide to German Aircraft 1935-1945" (now out of print).
Eagle Editions' release reads:

"Eagle Editions Ltd. proudly announces the acquisition of one of the foremost, leading aviation publishing companies, Monogram Aviation Publications. We now own the logo, domain name and copyrights to this prestigious publication house.

Please be advised that we have not acquired any inventory of back listed titles, as they are all out of print; however, we may in the future offer some reprints of past titles if warranted.

Ta 152
Among the first titles we will release is the long awaited, much anticipated book Ta 152 by Thomas H. Hitchcock.

We will revise and add to the book with new information prior to printing. While we don't have a final date, we plan to release this title as soon as possible.

Be sure to watch our website for information as it develops.

If you favored Monogram with a pre-paid purchase of this title, you will soon receive a letter regarding your order. If you have any questions, please contact Eagle not Monogram and we will be most happy to assist you in answering your questions.

We know you welcome this addition to our family. Thank you for your continued support of our products.

and the entire staff at

Eagle Editions Ltd."

Maybe we'll see the out of print books reappear at realistic prices in the near future.

Hi Dave Yes, wouldn't it be nice! I've got a long wish-list of classic Monogram titles which I never managed to get hold of. (I could never understand why they didn't republish them - I'm sure the demand was there...) All the best Rowan

""The Official Monogram Painting Guide to German Aircraft 1935-1945" (now out of print)." How much would a copy of this go for on the open market? Cheers, Charles
