Mark Peacock has sent some sample pages to whet our appetite for the next volume in the Airframe Detail series from Valiant Wings.
Richard Franks' Airframe Detail No 8 - The Horten IX / Gotha Go 229 - A Technical Guide promises to be a must-read for anyone building a kit of the Horten brothers' radical flying-wing jet that flew in prototype form in the final stages of WWII. The new volume will follow the highly successful format of the series, combining a wealth of historical and colour data, a detailed walk-around and top-class model builds.

The book is due for publication at the end of this month and can be ordered direct from Valiant Wings for £13.95 per copy + P&P.
