Łukasz Sznajde from Lukgraph Models has sent images and information about the future double release of the Friedrichshafen FF-33L floatplane 1/48 scale resin kits
”FF-33L was the last from the series of Friedrichshafen WWI floatplanes. It was smaller version of FF-33H, and was built in 1917. Initially it was intended for combat duties, later for training purposes, for flying schools where it served until the end of the Great War.
One sample found it way to Polish Naval Base in Puck in August 1920 via Utgoff Company. It received white number 9, and was classified as light bomber. It was also equipped with observer’s machine gun on ring. The airplane was used up to October 1921, when it crashed during landing on stormy waters of Baltic Sea.”

Both kits contain reinforced wire wings and struts, ensuring rigidity of the structure. Also included are photo etched parts, decals and a colour manual. There will be two releases as mentioned including:

48-05 - Friedrichshafen FF-33L Kaiserliche Marine – 1/48
48-06 - Friedrichshafen FF-33L in Polish Navy – 1/48
