Aviaeology have sent us details of their new website - along with a special offer for early customers who order through the site.
Come check out our new online venue! Welcome new subscribers and old hands alike - www.aviaeology.com is back

We invite you to be among the first 100 visitors to buy directly from our new site and receive an immediate 12% off your order. Or 15% if you're really fast! (time-limited coupon details below)

Many pre-order customers who've received them are already raving about the extensive technical details coverage in the Docs of our new Canso and Catalina Decals 'n Docs sets. And the decals themselves aren't half bad either.

Early feedback indicates that the new Spitfire set is also well received. No doubt the neat array of personal markings options is the primary reason (rather than anything we might be able to add to what's already been published on the Spitfire Mk.VBs technical history).

The Docs are nonetheless complete in their coverage of the schemes and production variations used on each individual subject aircraft.

Check 'em out… available now in 1/72 and 1/48, while larger scale sets, with the 10 subject choices split amongst Part 1 and Part 2, at the printers.

--------------------------------------------------------

Be among the first 100 visitors to make a purchase and receive 12% off the order total by using coupon code TheLaunch100 during Checkout. Or…

Already know what you're looking for? Then be one of the first 20 to Checkout using the Speedy20 and receive 15% off your order total.

Whichever you chose, be sure to read about bypassing the minor shopping cart checkout glitch on the Notice Board first though.

Yes, this is on top of the savings already offered on select Airframe Stencil Data Markings sets marked down their original prices for a limited time, and a few books marked way (way!) down on clearance.

* These coupons expire on 11 October, or when the stated number of orders threshold is reached, whichever comes first.

--------------------------------------------------------

For fast gen on current new releases, projects in the works at various stages, or an update on the status of delayed pre-order items, please make the Notice Board your first stop.

Current works in progress include a reprint run for our perennially in-demand Beaufighter sets in both 1/72 (thanks Airfix!) and 1/48 (and thank you, Revell!) scales. We still don't have a production-exit ETA from the printers, but the Docs are available for immediate download.*

For model makers looking for a single source of well-researched info to help sort out the technical details for any Beaufighter TF.X related modelling project(s). Like most of our later Docs, these include bespoke illustrations that can be zoomed in to high magnification on-screen – great stuff if you use a tablet or laptop at the workbench.

Projects for which the details will be posted to the Notice Board at a later date include discrete sets covering certain overlooked aspects of the various Consolidated Model 28-5 5A subtypes (Canso, Catalina, PBY-5 etc) and the various flavours of Beaufighter TF.X.

More later… thanks as always,
Alison and Terry @ SkyGrid Studio / Aviaeology Publishing

* All Docs-only purchases are refunded if you purchase the related Decals 'n Docs sets directly from our site at a later date.
