Hasegawa has re-released its 1/48 scale F-8E Crusader
This particular release first saw the light of day in 2003 according to Scalemates. Then there were four marking options, this time around there appears to be just two, including:

●US Navy 191 Battle Squadron CVW-19 Commander Billy Phillips Colonel Reserve Machine October 1966
●The 194th Combat Squadron of the US Navy CVW-19 Commander B. Philips Nakasato November 1966

07225 [PT25] - F-8E Crusader – 1/48

Not realy surprising as it’s the one Eduard reboxed (with these same decals I think). Not that long ago.

You are correct, and the Eduard kit has a few extra markings thrown in as well as some resin and photo etch parts. The Eduard kit is only about £10 dearer, if you can still get hold of it. Andy
