Airfix has re-released its 1/72 scale new tool Folland Gnat T.1 with two marking options: one RAF and the other is an aircraft from the film ‘Hot Shots’

Entering RAF service in 1959, the Gnat was responsible for training many hundreds of future fast jet pilots during its 20 year service career.

Marking options include:
●Folland Gnat T.1, Flying Training School, RAF Valley, Anglesey, Wales, 1970
●Oscar EW-5894 Fallus Tactical fighter bomber, USS Essess, Mediterranean/Gulf, 1991

Typical, I treat myself to the Special Hobby Gnat F.1 specifically for the Hot Shots decals to use on a T.1 and then Airfix do it! Oh well.
