HPH has announced it will be releasing a 1/48 scale B-36 Peacemaker

”On 1st December 2017, B-36 Peacemaker in 1/48 scale kit will be released. Really huge, fibreglass/ resin kit will be produced in very limited edition - only 100 pcs. are going to be produced! Each kit will contain a special certificate with the serial number. The price is stated to 575 Euro. Pre-orders via [email protected] are being accepted, so do not waste the time!”

So how large is the wingspan in 1:48? If I only had the money and the room....this is a cool aircraft!

57.5 inches or 1.43 M So big! Not far from 6 feet!

OMG!! this one is huge to say the list. I'm assuming that HPH needed this model for a movie or a customer. Honestly, I just can't see a market for a model this big. I've still got my 1/48 scale PBY-5A boxed and waiting for a build start date as I just can't figure out where nor how to display it without the wife threatening to toss it and me. And Pacemaker makes it seem small.
