If your taste is towards Luft 46 projects then this 1/72 Me-609 from RS Models will certainly interest you
The Messerschmitt Me 609 was a short-lived World War II German project which joined two fuselages of the Me 309 fighter prototype together to form a heavy fighter. By the time designs were being ironed out, the revolutionary Me-262 turbojet negated the need for further piston-engined fighter design.
As you can see there are three marking options so far, but these are obviously hypothetical. This 1/72 kit should be out in the near future.

RS Models has also announced the future release of a night fighter version of the Me-609.

92198 - Me-609 "Zerstörer"

If you are interested Kevin earlier reported the release of the Me-309 here. The 609 would certainly look interesting parked next to the 309 on your shelf flight line.

Looks a lot like the F-82 (?) Twin-mustang, doesn't it? A nice change ofbpace for the Luft'46 crowd!

I always find it interesting to read (wrong) german grammar on foreign kit boxes. I believe many companies think it sounds far more interesting to use german words for german aircraft instead using the more familiar english version. They should ask someone who knows the language before going into print .... Here it should read in correct german grammar "Schwerer Jäger und Zerstörer Version" Just my 2 cents Torsten
