Hataka have sent us details of the first of two acrylic paint sets devoted to USAF Aggressor colours. Volume 1 includes 8 x 17 ml bottles.
HTK-AS29 “USAF Aggressor Squadron Paint Set Vol. 1

USAF Aggressor Squadrons fly a wide variety of painting schemes that imitate the most prominent camouflages of aircraft of potential adversaries to the US (be it either unspecified post-soviet or Arab countries). Currently USAF operates two Aggressor Squadrons (18th AGRS based in Eielson AFB, Alaska and 64th AGRS based in Nellis AFB, Nevada) both flying F-16Cs. The sole F-15 aggressor unit (65th AGRS, also based at Nellis AFB) was disbanded in 2014 due to budget constrains. Part of its aircraft was taken over by sister 64th AGRS.

The set includes colours for Arctic Flanker, Lizard Flanker/ Flogger and Desert/ Brown USAF aggressor patterns. The set contains:

HTK-A154 - White Grey - FS36628, used in so-called "Arctic Flanker" camouflage scheme of USAF F-16s of 18th and 64th Aggressor Squadrons
HTK-A044 - Dark Gull Grey - FS36231, used in so-called "Arctic Flanker" camouflage scheme of USAF F-16s of 18th and 64th Aggressor Squadrons
HTK-A159 - Camouflage Black - FS37030, used in so-called "Arctic Flanker" camouflage scheme of USAF F-16s of 18th and 64th Aggressor Squadrons
HTK-A068 – US Army Desert Sand - FS30279, used in "Lizard Flanker/ Flogger" and "Desert/ Brown" schemes of some of F-16s and "Desert" scheme of F-15s
HTK-A160 - Pale Brown - FS30140, used in "Lizard Flanker/ Flogger" and "Desert/ Brown" schemes of USAF F-16s and "Desert" scheme of F-15s
HTK-A056 - European I Green - FS34092, used in so-called "Lizard Flanker/ Flogger" scheme of USAF aggressors' F-16s of 18th and 64th Aggressor Squadrons
HTK-A187 – Tan - FS20400, used in so-called "Lizard Flanker/ Flogger" scheme of some of USAF F-16s of 18th and 64th Aggressor Squadrons
HTK-A157 - Aggressor Grey - FS36251, colour of radome of "Arctic Flanker", "Lizard Flanker/ Flogger" and "Desert/Brown" F-16s. Used on leading edges of F-15s
