Model Cellar have sent us details of their new small scenic base suitable for displaying 1:32 early aviation figures.
The Model Cellar would like to announce the release of our first "Wedgie" scenic base. The master pattern was expertly crafted by Dave Maddox. It includes WWI aviation elements and is intended to be used as a display base for our range of 1/32 (54mm) WWI pilots. The base measures 1.5 inches x 1.5 inches square (which can then be mounted on a wooden pedestal).

Kit particulars:
Wedgie Display Base #1
Master pattern by: Dave Maddox
Boxart painted by: Dave Maddox
Item MC32W01
1/32 scale (54mm)
Resin cast
retail price: $10.50 USD

At right are two examples of how the Wedgie base can be used:

The first is Dave's excellent vignette titled "I will be that Ace" that he displayed at Euromilitaire. It features our WWI figure #MC32014 (WWI German 2-seater crewman pilot #2).

The second one shows an unpainted Lothar von Richthofen (item MC32005) as an example of size and space.

These two examples give you an idea of how you can use this cool little accessory to display your figures. PLEASE NOTE: The figures are NOT included in the Wedgie kit.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
