RODEN officially announces the release of the following new products in January 2003. Roden specializes in 1/72 and 1/48 scale WWI aircraft, but also manufacturers other aircraft and a 1/72 Soviet IS-3 tank.
No.032: Albatros D.V/Va
At the beginning of 1918 the Albatros D.V/D.Va was Germany's most numerous fighter. In May there were 1,117 airplanes of both versions in combat units (131 type D.V machines and 986 D.Vas), over 50% of the total number of German fighters.

No.045: RAF S.E.5a w/ Wolseley Viper
Scheduled for January 17th, the most successful British fighter of WWI was developed in 1917 right after the severe defeat of the RFC during Bloody April. Its predecessor, the S.E.5, had very good technical parameters, except for an unreliable 150 hp engine Hispano Suiza which did not allow for a full demonstration of this aircraft's potential.
