Italeri have published information and details of their recently released another incarnation of famous British Hawker Hurricane, this time in the Mk.IIc version armed with four 20mm Hispano machine guns.
Hurricane Mk.IIc
Catalogue No.: 2726

Attached photographs reveals many newly tooled parts and details in comparison to the previously released Italeri Hurricane – it's a good signal that company have not made too many shortcuts with using already known moulds. One of the painting schemes is wrongly entitled – 113 (Polish) Squadron – correctly it should be 309 (Polish) Squadron – it was the only Polish unit with “WC” squadron code letters which used Hurricanes Mk. IIc.

309 Squadron changed its codes from AR to WC when it transferred from Army Cooperation Command to Fighter Command. They are the wrong colour, red, on the profile but appear to be correct, Sky, on the decal sheet.

Always interested in another 1/48 quality WW11 subject. As for the decals, it's easy enough to change them, so it's a non-issue for me.

I think the choices for the decals are really great. Not many kits give you 6 schemes, and with the day fighter, night fighter, night intruder, North African and SE Asia Command colours, you great a massive variety between the schemes too.
