I was starting to worry about Lone Star Models and as if connected some how they sent out this sit-rep for us.
Lone Star's owner Mike has decided to start making some 1:32 scale between the Wars US aircraft kits. The first will be a Travelaire Mysteryship followed by a Heath Baby bullet. All will be mostly resin with decals.

All will be mostly resin with decals. Others in the line up, a BFC2 conversion for the Hasegawa BFC2-1 kit, Tommy Morse S4C, Hansa-Brandenberg W.20 Submarine Observation plane (Ok, so this one is German and WW-I), Ford Flivver and a Curtiss P-1C. A 1:32 TBM Firebomber is also planned for Summer release and will have decals.

He has several 1:48 projects getting ever closer to market. I recently completed the revamp of the old B-10 kit and it is available once again with hollow two piece resin wings.

Others getting closer are a 1:48 F9C Sparrowhawk, Vought O2U Corsair Floatplane and the ever popular SOC-3 Floatplane.

At the upcoming IPMS USA National Convention in August they will release a set of 1:32 corrugated aircraft revetments as used in Vietnam as well as a some in 1:48 . Other new releases will include a set of 1:48 long range belly tanks as used on the PV-1, a 1/48 belly radome for the PBJ-1, 1:8 exposed exhausts for the Monogram B-29, 1:48 XB-42 Mixmaster, 1:32 Travelair Mysteryship, Heath Baby Bullet, 1:32 TBM Firebomber for the Trumpeter kit with decals, a rerelease of the 1/72 X/Y B-52 conversion, and a ski equipped C-47 conversion in 1:48 with decals for Que Sera Sera and Tropical Tilly from the movie The Thing.

Also a big re-release, Back by popular demand the 1:48 ME264 kit. It is now available again.
